I took all the pictures on this page on August 14. My son Mitaro and I visited Kyoto to see and ride a steam locomotive this day. It was his fourth visit there. He is a locomotive buff thanks to the "Thomas the Tank Engine" stuff.

My son fell asleep on the train to Kyoto.
