The first page of the photos in February 2008.
My wife Tomoko and my son Mitaro visited a couple who are customers of
ours in Toyama again, who are the same people as we visited in the previous
August, together with the husband's sister who is also a customer of ours.
They visited the snowy countryside there on February 2, the first day of
their trip.
I called them later this day and told them I would like to join them four
days later. The couple kindly accepted my wish and let my wife and son
stay with them until Feb. 6.
The following two pictures were taken on the second day of their trip,
They visited an old sake brewery. Mitaro, my son, tried some fermented
rice which had sweet flavor.
I took the last express train on the evening of Feb. 5 arriving in Toyama
in the small hours next day, and joined my wife and son there. All the
pictures below were taken on Feb. 6. The pretty lady in a black overcoat,
Mrs. Kitahara, is the wife of the couple we stayed with.
We are waiting for a tram.
In the tram.
My wife, son and I visited a location called Toyama Family Park, a kind
of nature park and zoo integrated. Mitaro and I had visited this place
before, when we came to Toyama the previous August, but arriving late we
had little time to fully enjoy the place then. Because we got there in
11:00 a.m. or so this day, we had enough time to explore the location and
had a lot of fun there. It was much better than expected.
