Gruen 462, "Autowind Veri-Thin", 17 jewels, serial number 1M56868 (or IM56868), circa 1950

　Gruen 462, a movement of sub-second feature, is a modification of 460, also a sub-second movement. This particular movement has a broken click spring. It runs if you wind the stem and keep it,the balance swinging with good motion with the dial up and down. Good mainspring. Setting and winding parts works perfectly, though the center wheel pinion is broken. No other apparent abnormalities detected by visual inspection, though I can offer no warranty in regard to the mechanical condition. Sold as is.

　中三針のバンパー・オートマティック。コハゼバネが折れていますが、主ぜんまいは切れていません。ぜんまいが巻かれた状態に保持すれば、現状で動いています。ひげは巻き上げひげで、良好な状態です。巻き上げ・時刻合わせ機構も正常に動作します。二番カナが筒カナの根元で折れています。
