Gruen 460SS, "Autowind Veri-Thin", 17 jewels, serial number 1L88477 (or IL88477), 1945 or later

　Gruen 460SS is a movement of sweep second feature, compared to caliber 460 which is Gruen's first automatic movement, a sub second one. The suffix SS means seep second. This particular movement is currently running, the balance swinging with good motion with the dial up and down. Good mainspring. Setting and winding parts works perfectly. The second hand does not run because its sweep second wheel over the third wheel has become somewhat loose. I am certain it could be fixed relatively easily. No other apparent abnormalities detected by visual inspection, though I can offer no warranty in regard to the mechanical condition. Sold as is.

　中三針のバンパー・オートマティック。現状で動いています。巻き上げひげ。ひげぜんまいの状態は良好です。主ぜんまいも切れていません。巻き上げ・時刻合わせ機構も正常に動作します。上四番カナと噛み合う出車（上三番歯車）の、三番車の軸への取り付けに緩みが出ているため、秒針が動いていません。この問題は取り付け部分を締めれば容易に解決すると思います。
