Gruen 153, 15 jewels, serial number 1328835

　This movement is currently running. Good mainspring. Setting and winding parts also work perfectly. No apparent abnormalities detected by visual inspection, though I can offer no warranty in regard to the mechanical condition. Sold as is.

　Gruen caliber 153 seems to have had two or more types. They have pillar plates and bridges of diferrent shapes, which makes them look considerably different. Their crown wheels and their screws are also different. To see an example of later production that has some different parts, click on this link.
